Hydro jet drain cleaning is a high level plumbing practice that uses high-pressure water jets to clear blockages and wash the inside wall surfaces of pipelines. Unlike conventional drainpipe snaking, which just punches a hole through a clog, hydro jetting totally removes particles build-up throughout the pipeline system.
A skillful local plumber inserts a specialized pipe and nozzle in to the drainpipe or sewer line. The nozzle discharges water at very high pressure– often up to 4,000 PSI– which combs the pipeline inner parts and flushes particles out of the plumbing system.
Hydro jetting is generally used for:
- Severe drain blockages
- Sewage system line blockages
- Oil buildup in kitchen drain pipes
- Tree root intrusion
- Sludge and debris buildup
- Preventative drain upkeep
Due to the fact that the process uses only water pressure, hydro jetting is eco-friendly and safe for a lot of plumbing systems when done by qualified experts.
