Hydro jet drain cleaning is an advanced plumbing strategy that uses high-pressure water jets to clear clogs and wash the inside wall surfaces of pipes. Unlike typical drainpipe snaking, which simply punches a hole through a clog, hydro jetting entirely gets rid of debris buildup throughout the pipeline system.
A licensed plumbing technician inserts a specialized hose and nozzle into the drainpipe or sewage system line. The nozzle releases water at extremely high pressure– normally as much as 4,000 PSI– which searches the pipe inner parts and flushes particles out of the plumbing system.
Hydro jetting is typically used for:
- Severe drain clogs
- Sewage system line clogs
- Oil buildup in kitchen drains
- Tree root intrusion
- Sludge and debris accumulation
- Preventative drain upkeep
Because the process utilizes just water pressure, hydro jetting is environmentally friendly and risk-free for a lot of plumbing systems when done by skilled pros.
