Hydro jet drain cleaning is a high level plumbing technique that uses high-pressure water jets to clear blockages and clear the inside wall surfaces of pipelines. Unlike conventional drain snaking, which merely punches a hole through a blockage, hydro jetting entirely eliminates particles accumulation throughout the pipe system.
An experienced plumbing technician inserts a specialized hose pipe and nozzle inside the drainpipe or sewage system line. The nozzle discharges water at extremely high pressure– usually approximately 4,000 PSI– which searches the pipe inner parts and flushes debris out of the plumbing system.
Hydro jetting is typically utilized for:
- Extreme drain obstructions
- Sewer line blockages
- Grease buildup in kitchen drains
- Tree root attack
- Sludge and debris accumulation
- Preventative drain upkeep
Because the process uses only water pressure, hydro jetting is environmentally friendly and safe for a lot of plumbing systems when executed by experienced professionals.
